We are AT the

Round TAble WOrld meeting

The Round Table World Meeting (RTIWM) is the annual global assembly of Round Table International (RTI) and serves as the organisation’s highest decision-making forum. It brings together national and international leaders from member associations worldwide to govern the movement, ensure continuity, and align on shared values and objectives.

At the core of the World Meeting is the RTI Annual General Meeting (AGM), where formal business is conducted. This includes the approval of reports and financial statements, decisions on membership matters, constitutional and by-law amendments, budget approvals, and the election or confirmation of the incoming RTI Board. The meeting also marks the official handover of international leadership, setting the strategic direction for the coming year.

In addition to the AGM, the World Meeting includes a Councillors’ Meeting, typically held the day before the AGM. This forum brings together councillors and national board members for open discussion, debate, and workshops on key topics affecting the movement. It provides space to explore ideas in depth, share experiences, and develop proposals before they are formally presented at the AGM.

Overall, the Round Table World Meeting plays a key role in shaping the future of the international Round Table movement, balancing formal governance with collaboration, strategic dialogue, and leadership development across its global network.
